Hello, Got a sad face apple 20gb, think its a 3rd gen. fixing for a friend, after reading online guides, I found one saying something about putting folded paper behind the HDD, some say hit in on something hard! What do i do? The Pmiester :) haha thanks man :P x

Try dropping the iPod from a few inches off the ground... worked for me.
